Federal government has restated its desire to use digital innovations as a driving force to create wealth, jobs and a sustainable future for the Nigerian youths.
minister of communications, Innovations, and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani said this today at the opening ceremony of the Digital Nigeria International Conference organised by the National Information Technology Development Agency.
According to him, the present administration would leverage its huge population, to make Nigeria the first destination for investments in Africa, adding that massive infrastructure developments are underway in the telecommunications sector.
The minister explained that the administration would focus on five main pillars of knowledge, policies, infrastructures, innovation/entrepreneurship, and capital for effective contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country.
